Fairy Fore

They're a 4-part Tokyo pop/rock band with an 80s flavor, but casualty of being a one-hit wonder.

Biography

Fir~reforle was started in 1994, formed by Takashi with Yasu and Yoko (who were coming from another band). They played in the indie scene (and made demo tapes) for a long time until they recruited Akihide in 1999 and managed a few spots in the Omnibus album "Cross*D Lovers".

In 2000 they changed their name to Fairy Fore and signed on to Sweet Child records for the releace of their mini-album LOOP. After that, they became part of the Avex line-up, with the release of their first single "Love Sick", which was the opening song to the anime "Shin Megamitensei Devil Children". In 2002, they released their first album "Heaven's Market". After "Heaven's Market", the group had their first indies single "Darling", which was a limited release.

On September 1st 2003, after having two consecutive national tours, Akihide left the group. Fairy Fore reformed with support guitarists Fujiwara Eiji and Shuu, and released their latest single on Christmas Eve of 2003. The group toured off and on for most of 2004 with Eiji as their new guitarist, until he left the group in late July 2004. The band toured with two other support guitarists and hasn't had a permanent guitarist yet. They celebrated their 10th anniversary and released a second album, called “Kono Hana ga Saite Kareru Made” and a DVD of their last big tour. The group continued on until December 2005, in which it disbanded.
